larger sms text?

i just reformatted my phone and i lost all of my settings...

i remember of an option which let you write double the sms text(i think from 32 to 64 letters) but i just can't find it 😕

can anyone help me?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

There is no such settings as standard in Xperia U. The character limit is a network standard. 

Which language do you write in? Characters in some alphabets like the Cyrillic alphabet, are using more space for one character.

i'm writing in greek and from a little search on google this language is known for having issues with the sms text length...

I can tell the same with Romanian,we use some signs for letters(diacritic) which use more of a sms than normal letters.
