I have some large Audio Recordings from meetings that I've recorded in the Sony Notes widget. When I try to export to EVERNOTE, it fails. (Recording is some 300 minutes long).
What are my other options to get this audio file? As it is VERY important.
Transfer the files to your PC and conver the files with formatfactory
I have tried to look for these particular files but to no avail.
I was able to export a smaller note to evernote and send it to myself via email: according the file name it seems the notes and audio files are located in:
/data/data/com.sonymobile.notes/files/
i.e. an inaccessible area of the phone.
I have exactly the same problem. I have a large sound file who cannot export to or found on my telephone to copy as suggested solution above. Where the Sony Notes saves the files? I cannot found this directory.
So im not sure if anyone has found out how to solve this problem or not but i do have a work around for this problem.. This does not solve the whole file location copy.. I searched everywhere and it seems there is no answers or not enough people have the problem or care about it? Forums don't even have replys to this.. So all i did was go into notes on my phone and mark one of the notes that has the sound recording. When i did this it give me a list of options, i just selected gmail and sent that audio file to myself.. I tested and it works!! Then u just select it in your gmail/hotmail etc and it downloads to your computer.. If you have problems opening the file just use vlc, works great.. Also for some reason i could not send them all at once, I had to send them all 1 by 1 using mark several.. Weird but i didn't want to experiment at all because i did not want to lose any.. Hope this helps , if you have any other ways to work around this let me and everyone else know!!
hi
i m also facing the same problem. I have gone through web, talked to sony support. I tried whatever I could but I am not able to transfer my notes tp PC.
Need some answer from Sony!!
and yes, for audio files it does not show any option other than export!! (no gmail)
There must be a "recordings" folder in either you phone memory(Internal Storage) or in the SD Card.
The recordings are in .amr format.
Use a File Manager to locate it.
