Hello everyone. I am just wondering that why quick setting has a new tab now? I think it is no longer quick settings. Because when we open the upper menu, we need to tap the quick settings. This is not quick for me.

It is kitkat feature.
If you drag with one finger you see notificaitons (normal action). If you drag with two fingers, you will get quick settings.
I dont see any problems with that?
You simple read notifications more often than changing settings.
I believe that they have implemented a two finger swipe down to get to the settings. Still if you need to make one more tap that is quite quick considering the amount of choices. There wouldn't be any space for notifications if they put everything on the same screen.

Sorry, but some people are not so lucky to be born with two thumbs on a single hand.

I guess, we will never know how they managed it in 4.3. This will be a mystery forever.
As i posted in this thread
http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z1-Compact/Change-notification-bar-in-4-4/m-p/615751
it can be done by one finger , only support doesnt know about it .....
So that is why I sometimes randomly managed to open quick setting.
But this is still slowing things down aka oposite of quick.:smileyconfused:
Anyway thanks for the info.:smileysmileythumbsup:
