Kill running (background) apps

How do you guys kill your apps that are runnig in the background in spite of the fact that I dont use them at that time.

For example, when I open my book reader app and close it, it still keeps running in the background...so does Facebook, Maps app, some gallery view app etc...

When I close these apps I want them to be CLOSED !

Is there any way to do that on my non-rooted Xperia SP ?

Yes,just go to settings-apps-running and force stop which one you want.Do not use task killers.

That is not the way I want to do that because it is quite annoying... (every time you wanna close some app you have to go there and close is manually)

So I guess there is no better option hm?

You can disable one app,but that means you will not be able to use it unless you enable it again. No,without a task killer, you cannot stop the apps. You can remove them from recent task manager.,also.

You can use Clean Master. But closed apps are starting again by themselves after a while.

Does Xperia SP have some sort of Deep Sleep mode? If so, how to enable it?

It should enter deep sleep mode after you press the power button.

Keep in mind that taskillers, task managers, etc will create other issues and the app will be running in the background, thus draining your battery

Does clicking the multi task button and manually removing them from the list not stop them from running?
