keypad problem and others...

Hi,

I've had the phone for a month or so. Occasionally the key pad has a life of it's own and the 'buttons' press themselves. For example, I have the phone set up torequire a PIN to unlock it. A few times when I go to input my PIN, the phone just inputs random numbers without my touching it. It has also happened when trying to write messages. Has anyone come across this? Also, when charging, the touch screen doesn't work well at all so I can't play games for example. Another thing, does the GPS not work at all without needing a connection to the internet? Even my old Nokia would navigate without the net.

Thanks

Try to clear data for Xperia keyboard under settings > apps > all > Xperia keyboard > clear data. Restart phone and try again.

When it comes to the touch issue when charging I suggest that you try to charge your phone using another wall socket or try another charger.

The GPS works without Internet.  However it can take some more time to find your possession and you'll probably need to be outside under clear sky. Also the GPS/navigation software you are using might need Internet connection. Open maps and make your map area available offline and try the GPS outside.

Try to wipe the screen with a clean cloth as I've noticed the screen is highly touch sensitive due to the glove mode option
