Keylock problem when synchronizing with Outlook

My company permits me to synch with Outlook if I use a PIN code to open the phone. If wrong PIN code is entered 3 times, the entire operating system (Android 4) is reset and I loose all information on the phone etc. This happens easily when I carry my phone (XPERIA neo) in the pocket. Is there anyting I can do to prevent this from happening or must we change the strickt company security rules?

There is unfortunately not really anything you can do to change this if your IT department has this as an policy on the server. But my suggestion would be to use a phone case or similar to avoid keys/screen being pressed in your pocket.
