Keyboard layout dissapeared

Hello,

My phone was replaced by the service centre and was given a new phone. Strangely I am unable to find the phonepad keyboard layout, in the language and input settings in this phone. It is present in other phones and was there in my previous phone as well. What am I doing wrong?

I did look into that. There is no option to turn qwerty keyboard to phonepad in that 😕

in my previous z1 a week back, I had the option even after upgrading to 4.3.. Is there anyway to get it??.. if not could you please suggest of an alternatie for this?

I'll check around but in the mean time you will have to download a T9 keyboard  from the playstore

Mine's gone too - I have an idea what's happened but p'd off as I use  the Phonepad all the time is this going to be fixed and added back in?

I recently upgraded from a Xperia s to the Z1 and miss the Phonepad too, as I wear glasses for reading  find it easier to use a phonepad style (with out glasses) as the letters on the standard keyboard are too small... I would prefer to use the Xperia keyboard as is has imported my writing style. 

Before upgrading to the Z1 I checked the phonepad option was still available and this has realy annoyed me

Is this issue going to be fixed soon?
