Hi and welcome to the forum! Slightly_smiling_Face

May I ask you what software build number your Xperia arc is running on? You can find this info at Settings > About phone > Build number.

Are you using the default keyboard or have you installed a new one? Any difference when typing in landscape mode or portrait mode?

You don't have ICS keyboard but Xperia S keyboard... Slightly_smiling_Face ( i think, )

And this issue is still there, keyboard is quite inaccurate

oh my bad Dizzy_Face

i just checked and i didn't find any problem. my keyboard usage is now limited only for searching contacts and for small purposes so maybe the error is still there.

Hallo Marcus,

build number is :

4.0.2.a.0.62

its a standart keyboard never instaled new one, and no diference weather I type in landscape or portrait mode - mistakes are all the same quantity... do you have any thoughts?

Have you always had this problem or did it appear when you updated to .62?

One thing you could try is to actually install a 3rd party keyboard just to see if the problem is still there. If it's not, then you will probably just have to repair the software with PC Companion.

If the problem still is there with a different keyboard it might be a hardware issue.

Since you say the issue is there in both portrait and landscape mode I doubt this is is a hardware issue since the letter A will be at different points on the screen, but still not registering your touch.
