JellyBean for Neo V?

Ok so Jellybean is the new sexy when it comes to Android. I've been looking all over the internet, searching for some final news that whether NEO V or any other 2011 Xperia's will be receiving the update. I read that there was some statement that 2011's wont be recieving any further updates but then it said that that news was incorrect and Sony is researching the update. WHAT IS THE CURRENT STATUS FOR ANY UPDATE? YES OR NO!

Clearly, from the custom roms it is clear that Neo V can handle JB very well. Also, other manufacturers have already released JB updates for devices that have lower specs than the Neo V. If they can do it, WTF is the problem with SONY?

For a couple of months now Sony is not willing to provide any sofware support for 2011 devices.

Sony management and developement are totally focused on the 2012 Sony devices which means that bug fixes and updates (or even further information about it) are completely ignored - or as Sony support says "invastigated".

So... no we won't see Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at all, not even a statement!

Because this forum is totally censoreded. Forget about Sony support, doesn't exist anymore for 2011 line. Search on xda-developers, there a lot of guys have build various JB flavors. Personally i use PAC v4 and is better then all Sony roms.

this is totally not fare .. even xperia j has lower spec than xperia neo v....  i think xperia neo v can handle  .. jelly bean update...
  And  this ics on my xperia neo v .. has a log of buggs .. it laggs too much...even my xperia neo v is not running total  ICS 4.0.4  .its running 4.0.3  with build version 4.1.A.0.562.   Where as other xperia neo v devices are running 4.0.4 with bulid version 4.1.B.0.587... and this tootally suxxxs... by sony it produces a crap phones...

even samsung has also released jelly bean update for it's low end devices...  i think sound should think of upgrading its 2011 xperia phones to jelly bean to prove their standards..

I think this stupid brands: Sony, Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, etc. it indicated to pay for every android phones that they produce, because they don't offer support for they phones, but they include in the invoices of the devices that sales this services. Google must drop the GPL licencse so this brands don't take advantage and proffit from a free project. They sign that will offer support for 18 mounths but they don't give a shit for what they sign.

No problem Sony, i have already convince a friend to not buy a Sony S, but instead to buy a Galaxy Nexus because is directlly supported by Google. From now one i wish you a hard failure and to be bankruptcy.

Our Neo V support the JB 4.1.1/2 whitout any problems. try THIS and search for v4 in that thread , please see if it works with all the functions.

Sony you are a shame... a lier, a company that don't have to exist on the face of the earth.
