Jelly Bean Update 6.2.B.1.96 for the UK

Hi,

    Can anyone tell me if the 6.2.B.1.96 update has been fully rolled out yet. It's been two months now and I still haven't received it.

    In particular I'm looking for the update for the SI 1257-3921-R3H (UK Generic)

    I've emailed sony customer support a couple of times a few weeks ago. The first message they ignored and the second one, they sent a stock reply (written for Ice Cream Sandwich) that basically says it will be available when it's available.

    I know I can flash the update, but I would like to avoid that if possible.

    Normally I wouldn't be too bothered, but the battery drain since the 200 update is shocking.

Mine's a SIM-free one, so not dependent on the carriers getting their act together - just got the update direct from Sony.

I don't think that you can get the update from Sony if you are locked to EE (or any other carrier), but it is certainly worth a try.

This would probably be me if I hadn't took the plunge in September/October and flashed the FTF file, as I was on UK generic too.

I seriously can't believe you're still waiting!
