JB Bug - screen magnifyer for text input

Apparently, new screen magnifier ( when you want to edit your post on some forum) is not usable. You can point your finger and it will put the text cursor somewhere in the text, buy when you try to move it, to put it at exact point in text (because you can rarely choose exact point on first press) it doesn't move at all.

All you can do is magnify text and hope to press near wanted place.

I don't know for you pals, but I often use forums on Xperia, and it drives me crazy. It is related to stock browser (in Chrome it works better but Chrome sporadiclt eats letters (improvement to ICS where it was letter duplicating problem).

Stock browser is also famous for giving error when trying to login to this (official sony support) forum!!!! (I am writing this in Chrome).

This will be fixed in next software update.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been fixed correctly in newest firmware (6.2.A.1.100).

It doesn't lags anymore (as it was case before), but it works only as magnifier, upon trying to move the cursor to desired position in the post you are editing, web page view jumps to top of the page (windows for editing post stays out of the reach of screen) making imposible to put the cursor where you want.

It works correctly only when editing single line text like web addres in top of the screen.

So it seems we wil have to wait for next update to solve it.

Please contact Sony webmasters and inform them that current firmware version is: 6.2.A.1.100 and not: 6.2.A.0.400 as it is still stated on official Xperia P Support pages for Update (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-p/)
