win8 won't work, but win7 either version should work, have you consider create a new admin account and install sus then run it?

how about restart your PC on safemode then run SUS or PCC

I tried that also in Safe mode, I followed the instructions to BACK UP MY PHONE! Big mistake as the Xperia S flagship does not let you retrieve you backup! I mean what is all that about?

t's LAUGHABLE and disgraceful at the same time!

So now I have lost all my stuff, checking out after that SONY recommend i use a third party one instead which I have to buy! Why,Why do they put the backup software on this phone that does not work? SONY have got a complete lemon with this phones problems, I will not be recommending this model at all.  Definately looking for  a Sammy S3 now.
