Issues with Xperia Z3+

I had the same issues that I describe below with my Xperia Z. This is why I have switched to this phone.

1. WiFi connectivity. Even 5 feet from wireless router I get stuttering video and diabolical webpage loading.

2. Contents of emails - not the emails themselves - are deleted from phone when I open them. I must use my computer to read them.

3. On my Sonos multi room sound system via the app on my phone, the connection frequently drops. The last phone refused to handle more than one room, deleting the living room from the app control.

4. The Sony app on my computer refuses to wipe and repair the phone.

I had a Trojan on my Mac that was playing **bleep** with my system, but I have never connected this phone to computer or old phone.

This phone is under warranty. Should I return it? Are these issues common? How can I fix please?

Hi @Shrubberz

First try boot your device into safe mode and test if this issue persists. If everything works ok in this mode, a third party app its creating this problem. I´m at disposal for any question.

Success - to the extent that videos don't freeze. The email issue is intermittent so would take a week to answer.

What should I consider now please?

Hi @Shrubberz

If your device works ok in safe mode, a third party app its creating this issue but I can´t say which one. You may have to uninstall an app and check if problem is solved after it was remove. Im at disposal for any question.

Deleted all apps that were not completely mainstream yet contents of emails still deleted and something enjoys playing **bleep** with my Sonos system.

I cannot connect to my laptop due to it being a business machine and I can take no further risks with malware.

Please help. Happy to return phone to vendor for repair / replacement

It also marks random emails as unread that were already marked as read. Another old trick of old phone.
