Issue with text message length

I have a new Xperia and for some reason it is limiting the length of my text messages.  Once the length is reached it then breaks the message up and sends in 2 or 3 messages, I would like to know how to stop this from happening.

Not possible this limit is on all phones out there it's something how SMS is i guess since it cannot handle to have much txt, so thats why it splits SMS in more parts to make size small as possible for each and not like 5MB for just huge txt or so.

This is not an issue with the phone. This is due to your network provider. SMS have limits in the number of characters that can be entered. If more characters are entered they will be considered as 2 messages.
