Is Xperia Z REPAIRABLE........?

sony service center said that this phone cannot be repaired.But they are willing to replace the handset for half the price for which this handset is purchased.

if you bought your phone with a SIM card then there shall be guarantee that should be vaild still so go to them instead and they should help you out i sent mine in yesterday due to a black mark when using camera and all of this is free of charge for mine because i got a 24 months guarantee from the phone company so thats why check same with yours, instead of going to sony service center.

the phone company i'm with said they send mine into repair at a workstation and if they find problem that it's not fix able then they will replace it with a new one free of charge as well

since i'm under a 24 months subscription that comes with xperia z at the phone company.

That depends on the problem being experienced. if it is liquid damaged or severely impact damaged then it may be what is called "beyond economical repair" meaning it would cost more to repair it than replace it.
