internet settings

hello everyone..

i have been using this phone for a few months now.. initially internet on this device worked fine..

but since the last month my net pack was over & i wasnt able to recharge the internet pack for a few days..

now when i have recharged the internet pack, the internet is just not coming up in my phone..

i have tried to download the internet & mms settings once again after enabling the data traffic, but it simply refuses to download it.. i have done it a multiple no. of times but each time it shows "could not download internet & mms settings".. !!

i have recharged with a data pack & also enabled the data traffic.. i really fail to understand whats the problem.. i am at my wit's end where the problem is & where am i going wrong.. please help me out guys.. !!

It maybe that you have a limit set on your phone and you phone thinks the limit has been reached for a certain period - So open settings then data and if ticked untick "Set Mobile Data Limit" which will then give an unlimited usage as far as your network allowance will provide or you can amend the limit by tapping and holding the red line and then the orange or amber and dragging it up - However if the box is already unticked then try a settings reset via Settings back and restore then settings reset NOT Factory reset

i did it all as per ur instructions.. i didnt have any mobile data limits set, that box was unticked..

so i have done a settings reset as u said, then turned off the phone & switched it on again.. the internet is still not coming.. do u think there could be any other problem.. ?? looks like i'll ultimately have to do a factory settings reset which will delete all my data..

Try adding internet configuration manually. Search the internet to get the settings for your operator and location, then go to settings - more - mobile network settings - access point names - menu - add.
