internet issue

I am having issues with my 3g connection. I can surf the internet using the browser but apps won't connect to the internet.

Yes, I have the avg antivirus from android market

that's probably the culprit remember this is an android not a pc, you don't need antivirus, nor taskillers, nor battery apps, nor ram apps. they create issues, slow down your phone and drain your battery, yes even battery apps

I uninstalled it and checked for any other apps like those mentioned above but it's still not working

Are you able to download apps from the Play Store? can you also clarify what network provider you are using.

Apps take a lot of time to load on slow connection, you have to make sure, you are really getting the 3G speed. coz in India, 3G speed is slower than 2G speed  :smileygrin:

Download NQ mobile security from playstore, in that enable data speed option. it will show your realtime data speed on your screen. from that you can determine , if your apps are taking time to open or they are not connecting altogether.

Oh, I fixed the problem. It was  just my network provider. It seems like they only allow you to use the browser on the internet. I went and changed my provider and everything is fine now. Thanks for all the help!
