Internet Connection Problem

I have a Sony Expedia SP from the EE shop in Ipswich. They can never help with my queries as they are rude and only know how to use iPhones which I find absolutely ridiculous. I was wondering if someone could help me, since January 1st I cannot connect to the Internet. Before this I was able to connect to the Internet no matter where I was, I never used wi-fi either. I have tried ticking and unticking every option in wireless and network settings. Please would someone be able to advise me on how to connect to the Internet as I need it for work desperately. Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

First of all make sure that you have mobile data traffic enabled under settings > more > mobile networks > mobile data traffic. 

Also make sure that your network mode is set to WCDMA/GSM. 

If you still can't connect to Internet. Try to download new Internet settings from settings > Xperia > Internet settings. Restart your phone and try again.
