Internal or external SD memory

Need a fix for the cache to External SD card issue,

This is not a request for the standard Sony "App developers fault" reply. This is a request for a real fix for a serious issue. Even the pre-installed Sony Music Unlimited is not able to handle the memory location correct.

The pre-installed Sony Music Unlimited app. store the off-line albums to the internal SD, not external SD. Some off-line albums stored, and internal SD memory is full. The same memory issue with off-line albums running the WIMP music streaming app.

On the XDA-Developers there is a fix for this issue for Xperia GO with ICS, but I have not tested with my Xperia V. Fix needs root.

Edit:

If the new Xperia Z handles the cache the same way as the Xperia V, this will be a "Deal Breaker" for me.

I'm not able to offer you any solution for changing the mount points in the phone as this is only possible with root.

I know this is not the answer you want but this really comes down to apps that saves alot of data needs to have an option for where to save this data. Phones with a large internal memory that also supports memory cards are becoming more common and the solution here is not to add an option in the system to change the mount points. Those few apps that saves alot of data needs to have an option for where to save it.

I'll see if i can forward the feedback regarding Music Unlimited but this app is developed by Sony Entertainment and not Sony Mobile so i recommend that you also contact Sony Entertainment (http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com) regarding this.
