Internal Memory Usage

So,got a new Xperia L,bought a 32GB SD card, everything is ok,but one thing.I have 4 GB of internal memory which I don`t use  cause I have the SD card and another 1.37GB partition let`s say which is full. The problem is that all the apps like Google Play and YouTube and Chrome and so on cannot update because the partition is full and I can`t seem to move them in the 4 GB partition or on the SD card.

I`ve deleted everything and still there`s only 40MB available on the 1.37GB partition. Is there a way to make the internal memory just one partition of 5.37 GB or is there any way i could make the smaller partition with the system and phone apps larger ?

It`s really annoying since i get notifications about not being enough space to download updates and so on every time i connect to the internet. Please help me !

here is the info

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/phones/xperia-l/specifications/#tabs

Memory

  • RAM: 1GB
  • Flash memory: Up to 8 GB**
  • Expansion slot: microSD card, up to 32 GB

** Memory comprises of approximate 1.2 GB firmware and 5.8 GB “Internal storage” for downloaded applications, music, pictures and films, and some application data.

As another user has previously posted

Xperia L in factory condition (without third party apps installed) has around 5,5 GB of free space divided between phone memory (1.5 GB) and internal storage (4 GB).

The remaining memory isn't user accessible and is occupied by OS and recovery partition.

You can use an external microSD card to increase available space but here you can't install apps but only put your personal files.

I have downloaded nothing on my phone and my "phone memory" is full, there isn`t enough space to even receive texts sometimes unless I log out of my email and/or delete any data stored. What the 1.5GB of phone memory is full with I don`t know.

Hi

Calm down and don't blame the users trying to help you in the forum.

Read the loooong thread "Device memory full in xperia L".

You have probably come across that bug as well.

Now you can direct your anger and frustration against the proper target - SONY!

try deleting the data, go to settings then to applications and delete data, for example, tap operamini select clear data
