Hi, I got a new Xperia XA 2 weeks ago and I have an intermittant issue which is driving me crazy.
when I talk to my best friend (and we talk a lot) the the sound will fade away quickly and I can hear nothing. My friend can hear me clearly. This can happen after 30 seconds or 8 minutes. Or not at all.
I have checked the screen is black and I am not catching it at all and I don't believe I am. I have tried putting the phone on audio/speaker but I still cannot hear anything. In desperation I took the phone back and they swapped it for a new one. The second time I called my friend, bang. Fade out again after 6 minutes.
This strikes me as not being a problem with the phone or signal drop otherwise we would cut off. As to what it could be I am at a total loss. I am not technical in anyway, so please keep any answers or suggestions to a basic level please!!!!
I am on O2 my friend is on Virgin mobile and we are not in the same locations when it happens.
Its not easy for me to go back to the phone shop as it means a trip to the City. Anyone any ideas? It doesn't seem to happen with anyone else.
