Hello everyone,
since a week I am having problems with my Sony Xperia E.
Every time I try to download an app I get the Error "insufficient memory".
I have 100 mb available memory for apps but I can't download anything, even when it's 2 mb...
Can someone help me?
Thanks,
Jacobie
Hi there,
I have the same issue.
The weird thing is, that there is sufficient memory on the phone (Interner Speicher 1.9 GB), but the phone memeory is being filled by some apps.
=> Where can I decide, where an app does install?
If I could redirect the apps during installation to the phone memory, that should solve the problem
Thanks for your thoughts.

there are three types of memory on your mobile phone:
1. phone memory: here will apps be installed first. in your settings you can move them to the internal memory.
2. internal memory: this is the "extended" memory on your mobile phone. some apps can be moved to this memory... it also works the other way round (from internal to phone memory)...
3. memory stick/card: this is the memory for your own external data for example music, pictures, videos etc. ... apps cannot be moved here...
to save phone memory storage move all apps (if possible) to your internal memory...
pictures taken by the phone camera are saved to the phone/ internal memory (i´m not sure at the moment)... please be sure to move pictures taken with your phone to the memory stick/card...
i hope this will help ^^
@Nelle That's not how it work, if you access the play store through a computer and click on install/download the app, your phone will start downloading the app, so it'll be the same as using the phone.
