Instagram Issue - Xperia S - Android 2.3.7

Hi Guys,

I am trying to install the Instagram on my device but it shows like incompatible.

Does someone know how to fix it?

I just tried installing this application on an Xperia S handset and there was no issues. Are you able to supply the error message in full?

Hi, I’ve had the same issue.

From the instagram website there is a link to the apps downloads page where is just says 'your device isn't compatible with this version' - is there any way to rectify this or is it just the way it is.

Try the following.

1. go into instagram.com, click the "play store" icon, sign in with the Gmail account you have registered on your phone.

2. press the install button and confirm phone name.

3. wait for Instagram to download to handset

4. When it was done create an account.

See if the above gives you any results.
