In-car Bluetooth phonebook & call log sync problems

I have an Xperia Z for two months, and had an Xperia S for a year and a half before that.

I've used my Xperia S without any problem in my car (Opel Corsa), connecting it to integrated entertainment unit

(Touch & Connect by Bosch) via Bluetooth. All the functions were working seamlessly.

Also my Xperia Z worked perfectly until the last firmware update (or the one before that, I'm not sure).

(Current firmware is .244)

Now my phone is able to connect to the device, calls can be made through the phone and talking through the car's microphone & speakers is still possible.

But call log display and phonebook download functions in the device are not working.

I tried a lot of things, such as deleting and pairing the devices again, clearing the Bluetooth Share app's data in the phone as someone here suggested, but the problem persists.

I see that a lot of Z users have been experiencing the same problem with different brands of cars and in-car entertainment units.

I hope Sony software engineers could identify the problem and solve it soon.

Isn't there anybody out there ?

A short reply that says Sony is aware of the problem and looking into it would be comforting.

I also have the same problem.

I use 4.2.2 and haven't use an older version.

In addition I can't connect to my pc via bluetooth or wireless.

Sony should take a look for this issue.

Last night I checked via PCC and latest update (.67) came, finally.

I tried Bluetooth functions in my car first thing in the morning and they are all working!.

Thanks Sony, for fixing back what you've broken.

I'm a happy user now unless this update breaks something else Slightly_smiling_Face
