Hi all i have a sony xperia sp all is great with the phone apart from when i call
someone i constantly have to turn the volume up to hear the other person is
there any way i can set it to full volume
settings > sound > volume
I'm also facing the same problem, the volume is set to high but the other person's voice is not audible at all.
@navin.smg there's no need to create a new thread
@ uliwooly: I'm sorry, I created a new thread because the issue description given above is somewhat different from what I'm facing with my Xperia SP.
Any solution from Sony would be helpful. I cannot hear the other person if I receive or make calls outside. I always have to use my earphone and this is not the case with my other phones. Definitely there is some issue (either hardware or software) with the front speaker. Volume is good with loud speaker and earphone. Need a fix as soon as possible otherwise it is of no use carrying such a beautiful phone when I go out. :smileysad::smileysad::smileysad:
I have the same problem. The volume is on max value but the voice is very low. I had no problem with volume when I bought the mobile but after month the issue appeared.
I don´t know if it is hardware issue or software. I also updated the phone to firmware 12.0.A.1.257. Can it be connected with the udpate?
I have the same problem. When i make or receive calls the voice is very low, altough the volume is on max value.I already updated the phone to firmware 12.0.A.1.257 but it doesn't solve the problem. I tried use speaker and earphone the volume works normal. Is it hardware issue?
I have this problem also. Sony either needs to release instructions on how this can be fixed or an update for the same.
What's happening?? It has been more than a month now and no resolution from Sony yet. I had to buy a new phone for only making calls.
I've tried increasing the volume, updating the software, re-installing the OS and factory reset but the problem still persists.
This is VERY BAD & FRUSTRATING.
Come-on SONY, this is very basic thing that you have forgotten to check before releasing the phone into market.
