images and videos can't be found och my pc

When i go into the filemanager on my computer to try and get my images and videos from my xperia S my computer cant find them but i can see that they take up the memory on the memorycard diplayed.

On the phone thers no problem all pictures and videoes are as normal.

Ive also tried media go and that cant fint them either.

im using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

but i havent tried another computer yet.

Have you tried looking in Computer then Xperia S - Internal memory

You have a few folders to check - Pictures, Images or DCIM - Videos - Music - Ringtones etc

have checked there too no images or videos there either 😕

the only images i find is those ive posted on facebook

open any image on your phone that isn't showing up choose options by pressing the bottom right key on GB ICS not sure - then choose more and details and see if that tells you were it is located and or the folder name

when i looked at the information for one of the pictures it said location unknown

Another option I can think of is to have your phone conected to your Pc and run a advanced search from your Pc,

If you know the image name via the option I mentioned above then type that into the search bar on your Pc and press enter if it finds it straight away then great if not do a custom search and direct it to your Phone via the drive letter

I still can't find them. the xperia must have som superpowers to find them.

I doubt this will be helpful but I can only assume that they are saved on your phones memory and not the SD memory hence why the phone can see them but the likes of your Pc etc can't as the phone memory is on some sort of hidden partition - for example the cosmic flow live wallpapers etc

the strange ting is that earlyer i could find them. but since the last update i can't. soo i just got a idea to try and repar the latest update or is that just stupid?

download Astro File manager and double check
