Image Sensor specifications for Xperia P

Hi All,

I am looking for the detailed technical specifications of Image sensor used in Xperia P, I need to know the unit pixel size and also the possible frame rate for 1/8 sub-sampling. Is there any authentic forum/website, which offers these details. Are these details available for other xperia products ?.

Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.

Thank you

You could download from google play an app called Hardware Info,it tells you everything about the inside of the phone.

All available technical info we have is found in the White Papers, found here:

Some of the whitepapers are wrong, for Xperia P the GPU is told to be Adreno, but the reality is that our device has a Mali GPU.

which would you prefer the old school mali or the latest adreno? but you know what so far, games (talking about hard gaming) works smooth on our xperia P with mali 400.

I would choose the latest adreno which is in the xperia z,but mali can be a good gpu,if it has 4 cores like the sgs3 mali.our xperia p has only 1 core...

this page says the gpu is multi-core http://developer.sonymobile.com/knowledge-base/technologies/novethor-u8500/

anyway I feel it's doing ok for games like NFS MW, TempleRun, Subway surt, etc

It is multi-core, the one found on P is 1 core though. I suppose the others are disabled.

The Mali GPU can have up to four cores, but look at this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NovaThor

I know this for some time, that the SGS3 has 4 and Xperia P has 1.What performance gives SGS3?It is not similar to our Xperia.

Exactly, thing is the 1 core and 4 core is the same chip but they disable rest of the cores for it to work with NovaThor U8500 if I am not mistaken.
