This waiting around crap is for the birds... I bought my xPeria Pro last November and 90% of the reason was because it was stated that it would get ICS SOON, well "Soon" never came... And now after waiting over 6 months, it looks like I'm not going to get the upgrade promised... Don't know why... no reason is given... and then further I read that phones in 3rd world countries like Bangladesh are getting the upgrade to ICS before people in the US... That's Bull... Nothing against the people of any other country but the Market in the United States is 1000 times larger than any 3rd world country... And Sony needs to reward the people in the USA for buying their products before it upgrades small other country's... You've lost a loyal and repeat customer Sony... I'll NEVER buy another Sony product as long as I live... you screwed me, and I'll spend my hard earned money with company's that value and treat their customers with more respect than you do...
That being said... Got that off my chest
Now I got tired of waiting and then these SI numbers were released, and mine isn't on it and from what I've read all over the web there is no word or even a hint when the phones in the United States are going to get this much anticipated upgrade...
So I did the upgrade myself... Manually... Here's how:
I unlocked the bootloader right from Sony's website, here:

Then I downloaded this ICS ftf file from here:

(if anyone needs this file we can figure out a way for me to get it to you, sometimes the links on xda forum go dead and they are of no use anymore, the file is zipped and 227MB)
Then I used the latest version of Flashtool that I got here:

I flashed this FirmWare/ROM (MK16a_4.1.B.0.431_U.S. Debranded.ftf) and it works flawlessly except DO NOT alter the "T-Mobile US" APN in Settings/More/Mobile networks/Access Point Names/
It will kill that whole setting and you will not be able to even open the "Access Point Name" setting if you alter the "T-Moble US" APN in any way, don't know why, but if you leave it alone and just set up a working APN and select that as default you get full access to your network, I am on StraightTalk anyways and set the APN accordingly and it rocks...
Everything works!! It is ICS. I love it.
If anybody wants to upgrade their phone and needs some help, let me know, I'll do whatever I can to help... But there are tutorials and guides all over the xda forum to show you how to... It's what I used to learn the correct way to do this
Extra Note: I also Rooted my phone... and by doing that i was able to uninstall some of the bloat ware also and by doing that my phone runs for 56 hours on a full charge... I got a list of bloat ware that is safe to uninstall on the xda forum...
