So I have an Xperia P, just two months old. It was working absolutely fine. Yesterday all of a sudden while it was connected to my PC it stopped charging. I thought I ll wait it out. Now the basic problems are:
-On connecting to charger(adapter) it does not display a green LED but a red LED and the status(Settings>Power Managment>Battery) displayed is CHARGING(AC) earlier it used to be CHARGING.
- On connecting to PC using the SONY USB cable the folowing error message is displayed on the phone notification bar USB DEVICES DISABLED, Pwer consumption by connected devices is increased, therefore, all of them have been disabled. Please disconnect them and try reconnecting one after another.
No LED light of any sort(red/green) is displayed. The PC does not detect hte phone. Nor does PC companion or update service. Vol down combo does not work.
What to do???
Force a turn off and connect the phone to a charger before turning it on.
I could charge it now but I cant connect it to PC in anyway. How do i connect??
What happens when you try to connect?Do you have PC companion?also enable usb debugging mode in developer options.
Yes PC companion does not detect. And ihave enabled the usb debugging mode. When I try to connect it shows absolutely nothing, I mean neither the phone or the PC
Download sony update service,it should detect the phone. You could uninstall any driver from your phone on the computer and add again.
