Finally I've updated my sola to ICS (.54) and find few issues:
- lock screen isn't configurable (it wasn't but I prefer mute my ring bell than use camera)
- I'm unable to use music player on locked screen (can't slide from watch to music player as in GB)
- can't change locking system after installing certificate (it force me to change from "no security" to "pick one"; in GB I used password for my certificate magazine and I didn't need to set password to unlock phone; now even if I want to disable security I can't do it and only solution is to reset to defaults settings)
- I've lost few applications
- I couldn't restore my data from backup - I've lost few messages and contacts (good for me they were in google so I could synchronize them, but messages are lost)
- I'm unable to connect sola to my laptop with debian; finally after few reconfigurations I can connect it as mass storage but I see only SD card ( probably it's debian issue)
I hope so, because I'm finding new issues:
- clock "refreshing" (it takes 1-2 seconds to get actualize time to current)
- wifi sometimes turn on without my knowledge
One more!
I updated my phone yestarday via PCC to ICS and my timescape can't refresh manualy. Appears notification "Coul not update from Facebook"
Hi ratep and welcome to the forum!
My Still on Gingerbread phone also has this problem so I guess it's something about the Facebook's server...
Can someone from the Support Team give us any official statement about this?
Regards,
Trubo
Few more:
- alarm doesn't work properly ( I set 2 alarms , one worked ok and other should be 5 minut after first but didn't ring, so I almost overslept)
- camera got lags and pictures are still grainy
The lock screen is changed, camera instead of mute.
You can't use music player controls on lock screen depending on which lock you use and I as understand you use some kind of certificate that triggers the phone to have a more secure screen lock.
Please share more info about the back/restore problem.
See this thread for USB connection problems: http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/328564#328564
Is the second alarm set within the snooze time of the first one?

Yes, I've imported certificate to use wifi with TLS, but in GB I set up password only on certificate storage not whole phone.
I backuped whole phone - contacts, messages, settings, apps and photos. I upgraded phone to ICS and was trying to restore everything from backup.
I got settings, few apps and photos but no contacts nor messages - PC said me that "an error occured".
Is it possible to get some messages from offline copy ?
As for the alarm, I use two independent alarms first 6:25 and second 6:30. I turned off 6:25 and 6:30 should be 5 minuts later.
Probably it's connected with laggy clock - you "activate" phone and it takes 1-2 second to update current time which is very annoying...
PS. USB works fine under windows but poorly under debian linux.
@Johan
Please send my request to the software development team that:
XPERIA sola already has it's quick launch mode (Camera key)...
So what's the point of implementing the same function at same spot?
(The slider is very near to the key!)
