ICS browser - text-to-speech

Hello,
I've just updated my Xperia U to ICS through PCC and now, every time I use browser (or chrome), there will be voice that speaks the highlighted text.

Does anyone know how to turn off this feature? I disabled the "TalkBack" accessibility app yet the problem still persists.

go to settings > accessibility > talkback should be off

I got the same prob too!!!! "talkback" option is disabled but still ma phone speaks out highlighted texts!!!!

Whenever i open FB or any browser, its start speaking out!!! Plz help me to get rid of this!!!

same thing happened to me

what services does it shows up in  ur accessibility menu?

like in mine it shows up power toggles...
whatever it shows disable them all

and then restart ur phone

and check if the problem is solved

'install web script' option under accessibility

may be turned on...turning it off (do not allow)

can do the trick..;)

settings > accessibility > Install web scripts
