ICS Backround Data always Enabled

used to be on 2.3.4 if I turn off backround data some applications can't work such as market,gmail,gtalk...etc.

it's good for battery and performance of phone it be come more battery friendly

now on ICS backround Data always Enabled even disabled from switch on menu but all services still works on play(market),gtalk,gmail...etc

if backround data enable/disable switch menu is useless on android4 why still there

4.0.3 and 4.0.4 roms are infected clean install or repair system doesn't work on that

As neotheone said if you set a restriction on data limit , it will then restrict background data

However it will only work if you use mobile network connection, if you use Wi-fi then the bacground data restriction won't work

my problem is not restrict background network data(internet)

can't restrict backround applications via disable backround sync option

You can't disable it.... That's what i told, you could only disable when you switch off wifi and then set a limit to data usage and then select disable background data traffic.

This feature was fully functional on GB but on ICS it has limitations

i know what you are trying to say is how to stop apps from accessing google play

Hay guy, I just see it in setting/developer Apps on Background process limit that we could choosed 'no background processes' also.
