I don't know how Android works in security. Does Android OS save enough to prevent from viruses?

Now CM Security is offered in Google Play Security. SHould Sony handsets need antivirus?

Android does not need antivirus,but the thing is debatable.If you download only from google play,you should be fine.

Although you are led to believe Google Play is safe I'd take that as factually incorrect even Google admit this themselves - I'd recoment an AV (Avast free is a good one) or Malwarebytes as seen in the article, I'd also consider installing the Trend Heartbleed detector and ruuning scans every so often to check that an app hasn't become infected https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trendmicro.tool.heartbleeddetector
