I NEED HELP HARD RESET FACTORY Z1!

I cant get past the pattern lock on my xperia z1. I was reading online but none seem too work. Im turning off the phone, im holding the power button + Volume down, it turns the phone on but goes straight to the lockscreen. POWERON+ VOlume UP and the phone wont turn on. POwer button on + Volume UP AND DOWN at the same time turns the phone off immediately. My phones battery was at 12% and the Pink LED light at the top right is not appearing like itshould that ive read. please help me

If you want to factory reset your phone you will have to charge your phone until it reaches 60% then use PC Companion

If the above doesn't work then your only option is to try performing a system repair using PC Companion - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

I do not have a usb cable at the moment . is there  anyway I can do this manually without getting into the phone. I turn the phone off, then hold the power on and volume up button and it does nothing. am i doing this right? im trying to boot into recovery mode without have a use of a computer

No you need a computer, or another device where you can access Gmail, did you checked @Phy 's link?

How come you don't have the password/pin/pattern lock of your own phone?

cause i forgot it and no access to the email i used for the phone. so i cant reset it manuall...why isnt this working. plz help

Its been broken for a while, i paid 175 to get it fixed because it needed a new digitiizer, knowing that u can reset the phone manually without using a computer. If i would have known that my **bleep** phone wont reset by the volume button then i wouldnt have gotten it fixed. How do I properly reset the **bleep** phone ?
