I have no options at all? Really? Z3 Compact

It has barely been 6 months since the Z3 Compact and it is now "un-repairable" and my warranty has been voided by Sony repairs in Laredo, TX.  Two supervisors have told me that I am out of luck and what the repair facility says is final.

I received my Z3 compact in November.  Within 5 months, it had defective pixels popping up on the screen.  I sent it in for repairs no problem.  I get it back repaired and well.

Within two weeks, I record 4k video.  Phone gets a little warm and a small scratch appears above the speaker.  Everything still works fine but I call Xperia to ask if it was still waterproof, they tell me I have to send it in.  I send in my phone.

A week later, I get the phone back back panel still open and told that I tampered with the SD slot so my manufacturer warranty is now void.  I spoke to multiple front line agents and then two supervisors.  Both supervisors tell me that I am out of luck because the repair center at Laredo, TX has final say on all matters.  I ask them what options do I have as a customer.  They tell me I purposely messed with the SD connector and that I am completely out of luck.

Every Sony representative I speak to automatically believes that I as the customer that does not want to deal with any of this non-sensical bureaucracy and support staff would purposely sabatoge my phone.  Is that something that Sony trains their customer representatives to do?

So $500 on a phone that barely lasted 6 months.  On the other hand, my iPhone 4s has lasted me 3 years.  I wonder how I can keep a phone in perfect condition for 3 years and then when I get a Sony phone, I can be so quickly accused of purposely sabatoging my SD card slot?

At this point, is there anyone on this support forum that can help me?  I am a few days away from filing a small claims case on my day off.

@Klark

I'm sorry to hear that, but how did the SD card connector got damaged? was it that you inserted the SD card backwards? either or, this is user based forum, the only suggestion is to contact Sony directly

 I had no problems with the SD connector.  I carefully read the manuals before messing with my electronics and always put my SD card in the correct way.  Sony made no mention of an SD connector problem the first time they repaired my phone and it always worked fine.  I honestly think its either one of these three things:

1. I received a defective phone.  That would make sense since I started getting defective pixels months in.

2. Someone at the repair facility was not careful with the SD connector when fixing my phone.

3. The heat from recording 4k video had some kind of effect on the phone.

Sorry to hear this but you would need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care and have your device inspected http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Empathize with your situation. My view is that you have sent your phone to the wrong people. Sony Electronics is not Sony Mobile. And that repair place in Lerado has a notorious reputation, you can just google and see for yourself. Anyway, call Sony Mobile Xperia Care and see what they can do.
