your phone was originally locked to a network, so unless you debrand your phone you have to wait for your network to release it

Me and many people from Russian Sony community are still waiting ICS update for

SI: 1249-4753

Last update for SK17 is 1249-4863 2012-07-17 http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/38383

I bought this device because ICS was available. But today I know what not for me

And I now about "We will however not be able to answer on questions like: "When will SI number XXXX-XXXX be added to this list?" or "when will country X get the update?"" ...

Are you working on SI: 1249-4753 ?

the reason is, why you have android 2.3 and this update is for the Compilation Number necesary for ICS OS

I from Russia, my si 1249-4753. my sk17i isn't bound to telecommunications operator, but I didn't receive up-dating to ics. very sadly that passed 2,5 months since the up-dating beginning, and Russia again behind all. it would be desirable to know why? after all we have a lot of technique from your company! and still the question - why up-dating of si occurs now so rarely?? you still work over them?? at least approximately when it is possible to wait up-dating in Russia?? excuse for my English. very much I hope for the detailed and clear response!
