I Am Getting Error When I try To Do Software Update

i am getting this error when i try to update my phone software using PC Companion

Hi,

This error is usually caused by either Java being out of date on your PC or Anti-Virus/Firewall software seeing the PC Companion as a threat.

I'd suggest updating the Java on your PC by going to www.java.com

Also, check your Anti-Virus/Firewall software to ensure that they are not blocking PC Companion's access to the Internet and is on the accepted programs list.

I had the same problem....

Try this download the PC companion again from the site and reinstall the PC companion from the latest file you downloaded from the web! ( Dont install from the exe file that you already downloaded before! re-install from the new exe) and the connect your phone and go through the process.!

It worked for me!
