Huge battery drain after ICS update

Hello, I have a problem with my Xperia Ray after the ICS update, now the phone drains a huge amount of battery when its just in standby mode.

And one thing, please create a downgrade tool that lets you downgrade to GB again.

please explain more , how much battery is depleting when on idle mode ? go to settings > about phone > battery use. and if possible post some screenshots as well of the battery graph.

Hmm, this is what I get in battery graph:

Operatingsystem Android: 40%

Idle: 35%

Cellphone idle: 10%

40% doesn't seems normal to me , i don't have ics installed , will let somebody check if they also have android system consuming this much of battery.

if you don't mind updating again , this should solve the problem.

update your phone with this..

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service

this is an official sony software so don't worry..

and if it says your phone is up-to-date click on install anyway..

this will delete all the phone's data so backup all your files first..

lets focus on the phone problem's first

have you downloaded any application which might be interfering with the battery ? anything like task killer ot battery saver ? if you use it , uninstall it , if not then

go to settings > privacy > factory data reset. after doing this update your phone again Slightly_smiling_Face

i know its a long procedure but give it a shot.

Regarding battery,

Format your sd card and again reinstall your phone's software using pc companion......

see how it goes... otherwise i think you will have to downgrade to GB

Already done that, and I have tried to "repair" using SUS, but It doesnt help

My sdcard is clean, no folders or anything on it.

Formatted it, but it doesnt help at all

i know , but just do a factory data reset before updating. this may solve the problem.
