How to use Wifi Direct and screen mirroring

How can turn on Wifi Direct on my xperia T?

Yes, it looks like it turns on but doesn't connect to PTV3000. It find the device then says connecting and doesnt do anything. But when I tap the widget, it turns on wifi and connects.

To connect with screen mirroring you should use the widget or go to Settings -> Xperia -> Screen mirroring. If it doesn't work, try updating the firmware in the PTV3000. Looks like earlier versions does not support Android from what i've found.

If you get poor performance, see if you can switch the PTV3000 to 5GHz only and see if it helps. According to http://www.netgear.com/home/products/hometheater/media-players/PTV3000.aspx#two it should support 5Ghz.
