How to use the smart watch 2, without a phone?

I got one of these watches as a christmas present, but my phone broke and i want to use the watch as just well... a watch, but when i turn it on it tells me to connect it to my phone [Which i dont have] and i cant seem to find the "I just want to use this watch as a watch" option, so is there anyway to just get the basic features like Time, Calender etc without having to connect it to a phone?

You can use the SW2 w/o a phone but you won't be able to sync anything. In other words you can only use it to check time.

Can i ask how?, when i turn it on it tells me to connect it to my phone and there dosnt seem to be a way past it, i'm forever stuck on a "Please connect your phone" screen.

My bad, I thought that you had already synced the SW2 with a phone and you are planning to use it w/o the phone.
