How to use offline maps

Hi,

I have downloaded the Google maps for Bangalore,India. but when I trying to locate the it is asking for Data connection. Please help me how can I use the offline maps without data connection.

here is some information ! you have to cache it using data connection before you can use offline. and latest GMap version may not let you cache too much area
