How to Use Bluetooth Headset??

Hi All,

How can we use a bluetooth headset with Xperia X10 Mini Pro?

I cannot see any option to configure the bluetooth devide or to transfer the ongoing call to bluetooth headset.

NOTE: I have installed Bluetooth File Transfer App before to use bluetooth for file transfer.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Try this:

1. From the Home screen, find and tap Settings.
2. Tap Wireless controls > Bluetooth settings.
3. Mark the Bluetooth checkbox.
4. The phone starts to search for the device. Make sure that the device is in pairing mode. If needed, tap Scan for devices.
5. When the device becomes visible in the Bluetooth devices found list, tap to select it.
6. If needed, tap the text bar to enter the passcode (0000 by default) and tap Done > OK.
7. You can now start using the paired Bluetooth™ device. The status  of the pairing and connection is shown below the name of the Bluetooth  device in the Bluetooth devices list.

EDIT: Looking at your question again, if you are getting paired, but having issues AFTER the pairing, please let me know what model of headset you have, so we can rule out issues.

My phone only shows "Pair with this device" and I can't put the passcode, so 'im unable to pair...

My headset is HS-4W and my phone the x10 mini pro 2.1.

Hello, I have sony ericssong xperia mini pro with software v.4.0

Im facing this problem with my Bluetooth headset. (Model K-520 BT v.2.1)

My headset is working perfectly with Nokia and my laptop

I connected and paired the headset with my xperia.

it shows connected to phone audio in bluetooth devices list

but when i play the music or turn on any sound in phon, sound coming from speaker only..

Kindly please reply me for this problem...
