How to upgrade from memory card 8gb to 32gb

Im trying to change my memory card from 8gb to a 32gb. Does anyone know how to go about doing it? A hard drag and drop is not successful as the android folder wont transfer

Hi

Move all the apps to phone's internal memory ( if they are installed on SD card ). Transfer only your backed up files ( if you backed up your data using apps ) that are present on the SD card and media ( music, pics, videos ) Do not transfer anything else.

You don't have to move that android folder as it will be created by your phone automatically on the new SD card.

Transfer only your media and backed up files like I said above.

If you still have the PC Companion and it's working, you can try.

This is what is the latest software by Sony http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/xperia-companion/

Connect your phone to PC after installing the Xperia Companion and select backup. Go through the process and see what all the Xperia Companion can backup for you. Different features show up for different phones.

If apps backup doesn't show up in Xperia Companion, you can use the program given in your phone

Settings > backup and reset > Xperia backup and restore

Also, do not delete everything on your 8GB memory card until you're sure you have everything you need, on new SD card.

Do what Nabeel said, use Sony PCC to backup, eject safely the old SD from your phone, insert and connect the new one and then restore!
