I need help about rooting phone as i want to use applications that require rooting.

I used DoomLord, Flashtool and superoneclick but i could not get my phone rooted.

There is some kind of read write error.

Is it necessary to unlock bootloader to root the phone?

U cannot root ICS directly. U have to downgrade to GB, then root and upgrade to ICS again.

I have downgraded to gingerbread but still same as above

It is .62

and tell me wether i need to unlock bootloader to install custom roms such as Cm9 ,MIUI etc....

you can't root .62, you need .42 and then user SuperOneClick

after i flashed .42 and then i will update to ics,will my phone remein rooted or not?
