I have sony xperia ZR and when i want to put a song as a phone rigntone, but i could not. From phone ringtone at settings i tap music mark at top corner to select a song from music file, but it gives me no content available. How to do it please .
You could open the Walkman app find the song then tap the arrow pointing down and to the right then tap Set as ringtone
or you could use an app such as ringdroid
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ringdroid&hl=en
to select any segment of a song as a ringtone.
when i open Walkman apps to find a song it gives nothing , means no content available , and when i create a playlist to put a songs in it, it has no songs, but i have question, where Walkman app puts the songs in the device's folder ?
Which walkman version do you have?
Walkman version 8.5.A.3.2 .
and ringdroid did nothing , just only pring all ringtone in phone .
Try to reset app preferences under settings-apps-all and set any song as your ringtone.
I did reset app preferences under settings-apps-all, but nothing . i can run any music by Walkman but can not be saved in it
I am not sure I understand what do you mean by save. you just want to set a ringtone from walkman.
Just paste the file into following folder. If it doesn't exist, create one inside and name it corectly. This is how your Walkman won't see the file, but will be recognized when choosing tone for corresponding alert.
