How to get PlayNow application

Hi All

I was wondering does anyone know if it possible to download and install the playNow application for the X10

The playnow application has been removed by my operator and replaced with there music application.

I don't want to debrand the phone so I was wondering if there any way to get this application.

We want Playnow Arena NOW!! I have X10 on 3 network and I can't access Playnow either. It's in the phones memory but I can't access it and the sony ericsson m.sonyericsson.com/sam-resetplaynow doesn't work(parse error). Why oh why are Irish user continually treated like crap. No Playnow, (No Android paid apps)!! Speak up Sony Ericcson! I have loyally bought your phones for many years but this will be my last if you don't learn to listen and sort these issues. I never had an issue accessing the Arena from my C905 so way the big deal with the X10?

This is all you need to do.

If your Play Now application is no longer available, you should be able to reinstall the application by following the below instructions on your handset.

- Go to Android Market
- Search for “OI File”
- Tap on “OI File Manager”
- Tap Install > OK
- Open Menu > OI File Manager
- Tap on the icon with the image of a House (Home)
- Open System folder then App folder
- Tap on the file name playnowarena.apk
- If requested to enable “Unknown sources” tap Settings and check the box for unknown sources. Press Back and click to install the app again.
- Once complete should be available on the main menu.

This meyhod didn't work for me, or a lot of other people. It seems that after the last update, the playnowarena.apk became corrupted.It was as though playnow was still installed, just not accesible and i couldn't uninstall it either.

I had to delete the .apk from System>App folder and replace with a fresh copy from here;
