How to find the [REAL] SI number to your xperia mini
To find the real SI number, first, you download to your phone the application "function tester" by sony,then you open it and you go to "phone facts" you will see the "application software ID" there is your SI number. Mine is1249-7702.
The application software ID being shown is your CDA number not the SI number. Try typing in your dialer *#*#7378423#*#* then go to "service info" then "software info" you'll see that the Customization number and the application software ID is the same.
I'm really appreciated for that CDA list. It looks like my SI is not 1249-9847 (mentioned in the “Xperia mini, SI numbers for ICS update” thread)from under the battery but some CUSTOMIZED RU WORLD I 1249-9368 R9D instead. What does this “customized” stand for? Will my SI be put in the ICS update list or it is some noname phone without further support?
