how to close the opened app?

if you are using for example the messaging app press back as needed to exit to the homescreen, do the same to the other apps.

you could use a taskiller -> but doing so would kill a lot apps -> and restarting them will drain more battery to restart them.

Use the Back softkey til you are back to your home screen. Or simply use the Home hard button.

the home button won't close the apps, it will keep them oopen. the back button will.

if you press the home button it will remain open and consume battery and RAM..

and your phone will lag
