How to check whether my phone is refurbished or not

It has been a week or so that I've bought a Xperia z2. I wanted to ask how tocheck whether i've bought a factory-new or refurbished phone?

If you bought this phone directly from Sony then contact Sony directly, if it was another electronics store, contact them, if it was bought online you will have to contact the seller.

I've bought it from souq.com UAE, SO not sure whom to call, but the seller stated the product to be new

Hello Hassanshakeel. In fact I think this site can tell you if your phone is refurbished or not .

You can try it. and post if it is - the site good or not - . Anyone who had any idea about it please let us know. For me I've tried it and it said my phone is as it is.

Just enter your IMEI and press check.

This site might be useful if you boubt that your phone is fake, not original or made by Sony. Sometimes you may find high copies of well known brands for a muck less price, these are not original.

Meanwhile it will not give you any information if the mobile is refurbished, because it's still an original phone but used and has been repacked.

@prodigy1 thanks a lot mate, but it just tells stuff about phone specs and etc. And nothing about being refurb or not. 😕
