I have purchased Xperia CK13i last month, please tell me how to check firmware version ? Is it upgradable ?

Press #*878# for the service menu which will give you information on the firmware version.

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/  Run the update service on your phone to see whether there is a new software version.
